Some people have said that the now-force-activated Nvidia card took control anyway at this point, solving the problem. If not, try running the Sonic Config again and this time deliberately select the non-Nvidia card. Now start Sonic, and it will probably work. Open the Sonic Config tool and see if your Nvidia card is present (it really should be), and of course, choose it.This will force-activate your discrete GPU.
Choose extended desktop and apply again.Choose your Nvidia card and select "Attempt to connect anyway on ".
Press Detect in this new Window (if you can see two displays that are grayed out and named after your video cards, you're probably good to go). Right click on it, and select "Screen Resolution".

These mods include HQ pre-rendered cutscenes, increased shadow resolution, and HUD upscales. Various mods that enhance the vanilla game are highly recommended, even for a first playthrough.

One such notable mod is the Unleashed Project, which ports the 9 "daytime" stages from Sonic Unleashed into the game (replacing the vanilla stages). Sonic Generations features an active modding community players have produced a variety of mods for the game’s stages, models, visual effects, audio, and animations. this DLC was initially an exclusive GameStop pre-order bonus for the console versions that was later made available for purchase on Steam. On September 29, 2016, all Steam users received the Casino Night DLC (an in-game pinball mini-game) for free. Unlike the console versions, the PC version removes the unlockable (emulated) copy of the original Sonic the Hedgehog (1991). The PC version of the game was released on Novemon Steam, with Europe and Australia exclusively receiving a physical release. The game was intended as a celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, with it featuring the play-styles and character designs of two different eras of Sonic ("Classic" and "Modern") and levels spanning the franchise from 1991 to 2010. Sonic Generations is a single-player 3D platformer developed by Sonic Team and published by Sega. 10.2.2 Missing Cutscene for Casino Night DLC.8.8 Modern Sonic's Quickstep sound is missing.8.7 Crash when trying to play online ranking mode.8.4 Configuration Tool does not open/crashes.They might get one more compilation out of Game Gear games and spinoffs, but thats it. Theres nothing left to rerelease unless Sega dives into the quote unquote "dark age". (I'd speculate that potential royalties issues with the original developers Dimps must also be hindering re-release efforts somehow.) Generations 3DS has the same issue as its console counterpart, and the less said about Lost World 3DS, the better. "Wait, I thought they already released that game?" the average gamer will say.
Sonic unleashed pc port plus#
And they literally just re-released Colors (unless they come out with some stupid Even More Ultimate edition for PS5 and Xbox Series?)Īs for handhelds, Advance's rights are tied up in the death of THQ, Rush/Rush Adventure would be disorienting unless it was remade to be on a single screen, and same for Colors plus brand confusion from them already releasing Colors Ultimate. But they also won't re-release Lost World and Forces because they're too recent. Generations is gonna be outdated cos it doesn't have levels from Lost World, Forces and Rangers (and the aforementioned lack of money means they won't make those levels either).
They're already releasing a compilation with Origins, and they're not gonna invest the money needed to polish Adventure 1 and 2 to the same level of Colours Ultimate so we can discount them. Let's break it down assuming Sega aren't gonna touch the Heroes to Black Knight games with a 50ft pole. Capcom re-released Mega Man X6 and X7, and everyone is in agreement that those games are burning hot garbage.
